A good morning - went out for a 40 minute jog. It's good going out early in the morning - holidays are great!
Our friends the Toners are here. We went out to Peachgrove Bay again - another great day. I went for a good swim - lovely crystal clear water - you can easily see the bottom - 5 m deep! Got another great photo of the girls.

That looks gorgeous. Is Peachgrove Bay on Mercury Island? Are there ferries out to it or do you have to have your own boat?
Looks idyllic. I like the sound of being able to swim in 5m and see the bottom. Any sharks????? :)
We didn't make it to the Corramandel (spel?) this year but might try at easter.
Hi sub6, yes it's at Mercury Bay. We have our own boat. You can't stay at Mercury Island, but I'm sure if you were to stay at Whitianga a charter boat could take your family out.
We'll definitely have to meet and catch up at Rotorua (or before), as I have a daughter who is 9 1/2, a similar age to your daughter? My other little girl is 2 and a half.
I'm starting to wonder whether IMNZ 2009 might be a good goal for me? (I think I remember asking a friend to shoot me if I entered though!)
IMNZ sounds like a great idea .. I might just secretly save up for it :)
We should all meet up for a training day/weekend maybe in Aug/Sep time when we should all be training for the Half Ironman
